Learn about monitoring methods for Koalas and other wildlife.

This workshop will dive into how to assess the condition of koalas and their habitat quality and explore presence and absence over time at a property and broader landscape level through an 'Accounting for Nature' methodology.

Hear from Ecologists Mark Ambrose (BRRVLN) Renee Rossini (WWF) and Lynn Baker (Canines for Wildlife) and witness the amazing tracking skills of Max the Koala detection dog.

This event will cover a range of monitoring methods including scat analysis, acoustic monitors, drone heat sensors and wildlife detection dogs. 

What people need to bring: long pants, sturdy shoes, water bottle, hat, camping chair
