Made for the Field Trip symposium (Horizon Festival 2020), this is a story on the endangered Rhodamnia tree through a cultural lens, considering soul in a time of pandemics. The Rhodamnia is being killed by a pathogen pandemic commonly known as myrtle rust, a documented occurrence in 2010. The species was listed as critically endangered last year, under the Biodiversity Act 2016.
