Considering Creeks - the current state - the desired future and how to get there. 

Do you have an aspiration to improve your creek but don't quite know where to start?
Have you undertaken works in the past and have been discouraged by the challenge?
Do you have an interest to pursue funding support for a riparian project?
If so, this workshop is for you.

This half day workshop will:

• discuss restoration in riparian areas,

• explore all the factors worth considering before you begin,

• help you develop a strategic and realistic plan and get ‘shelf ready’ for a funding application.

plant species - weed control techniques - timeframes - hydrology - soil type - erosion challenges - surrounding lands & broader site context – resources available

Come prepared for a short field walk along Post Office Creek including closed shoes, long pants and a hat.  Lunch will be provided. 

All participants will be provided with a take-home information kit that includes some great resources to support you in the future.
